Vacuum lifting device VacuMaster Basic for loading and unloading a TRUMPF laser processing center

In cooperation with TRUMPF, Schmalz offers a special loading unit for the TRUMPF 1030, which consists of a vacuum lifting device with a chain hoist and a column-mounted slewing crane.

The vacuum lifting device VacuMaster Basic is ideal for handling sheet metal. The lifting device is equipped with eight suction plates. These hold the workpiece gently without leaving any marks. A crossbeam allows the suction plates to be adjusted to the size of the workpiece. The operator handle enables operators to work ergonomically. A warning device warns users with an acoustic signal when the vacuum is too low or in the case of a power failure. This ensures maximum safety throughout the entire handling process. The lifting device’s extreme durability ensures a long service life. The column-mounted slewing crane is mounted directly on the TRUMPF laser processing center. This ensures simple loading and unloading of the processing center. The use of the vacuum lifting device and the column-mounted slewing crane led to productive and ergonomic loading and unloading processes.
